Minimum Qualifications Insurance Fund Services Specialist 1 (SG-14): Reachable on the current Civil Service list used for filling this title or one year of permanent, competitive class service in a title approved by the Department of Civil Service for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Examples of eligible titles include: Accountant Aide, Labor Services Representative.

Insurance Fund Services Specialist Trainee 1 (SG-11): Reachable on the current Civil Service list used for filling this title or one year of permanent, competitive class service in a title approved by the Department of Civil Service for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Examples of eligible titles include: Assistant Insurance Fund Services Representative, Tax Technician 1, Taxpayer Services Specialist 1, Tax Compliance Representative 1, Tax Compliance Agent 1.

Duties Description The incumbent will serve in NYSIF\'s Cost Recovery unit. Duties include but are not limited to:
-complete medical reimbursement requests
-file reconsiderations within 60 days of receipt from Workers\' Compensation Board
-timely file 15-8 medical reimbursement requests
-update CHS and FMP as needed
