Wage:

$25 - $35 per hour DOE

Official Working Hours:

Monday thru Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm with Overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities

Complete installation of metal products (i.e. rails, stairs, canopies, plates, etc.) at job sites Manage equipment and tools; make sure all equipment/tools are ready for the job Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits Seek to improve/suggest installation techniques/tools to improve quality and efficiency Communicate closely with Project Manager to deliver final product Working from heights while harnessed for fall protection and safety

Required skills

3 years Experience in field welding and steel erection using FCAW and SMAW processes (.068 Innershield, 7018). Completing and passing field weld inspection and adhering to WABO guidelines and regulations. Experience in rigging steel components and joining weldments in the field regardless of weather conditions. WABO certified in 3G/4G position for FCAW or SMAW processes. Work closely with General Contractors to produce a quality product and on schedule Able to problem solve quickly and efficiently on site when issues occur. Able to lift 100 lbs. Able to read, understand and evaluate shop drawings/blueprints Detail oriented, safety minded, efficient, and punctual Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited to no supervision A hard-working, trustworthy, humble team-player

Preferred skills

Experience working at multiple production build job sites Experience working with General Contractors at commercial job sites Operation of Boom/Scissor Lifts at job sites Rigging & Heavy Lift experience

Experience that would translate well to this position

Extensive Metal Fabrication experience Extensive Framing experience Extensive Siding experience Extensive HVAC installation experience Other relevant Installation or Construction experience
