Who are we:

We're a licensed electrical company based out of Narragansett, Rhode Island. Our focus is smart home technology to include security alarms. We work primarily on luxury custom homes.

What we're looking for:

What we're looking for at this current time is a part time security system installer/programmer. One that does clean installations and takes pride in their work. As this position takes off it will eventually turn into a full-time position. This candidate would design systems, specify product, and install the system from start to finish. Ability to procure sales of systems would be a bonus along with profit sharing.

Duties:

- Install and configure security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for system installation
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation
- Mount equipment and run necessary wiring to connect components
- Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure proper functionality
- Provide training to customers on how to use the installed systems

Qualifications:

- Rhode Island Alarm License
- 2yrs+ experience in alarm/access control work is preferred
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems and power tools
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and system design
- Understanding of electrical principles and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
