Job Description
Pacific Millworks is seeking an experienced millwork design/engineer to create accurate, highly detailed shop drawings for custom commercial and residential millwork projects. The Senior Design Engineer is charged with ensuring their work is completed in the most efficient manner, ensuring that submittal drawings are prepared using company standards and to comply with contract specifications.
The Design Engineer is responsible for managing their time to guarantee their work is done accurately and timely to maintain our production schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with CNC programing/coding, must be proficient with AutoCAD
- 7+ years of drafting & engineering experience within the architectural woodwork/millwork industry
- Understanding of hands-on production and/or installation processes
- Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure to achieve success
- Effectively streamline processes and increase efficiency
- Accurate understanding of BOM, cut-list, machining to parts, and applicable hardware to incorporate into drafts
