The HVAC PROJECT MANAGER will be responsible for overseeing all new construction, retrofit construction and service RA projects from the bid process through the completion of the project. Provides project oversight to ensure all project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget, are met or exceeded; assures quality control standards of the project; assists in the development and management of project budgets; monitors project progress against the project schedule; responsible for risk management related to the project; responsible for creating and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships; responsible for project documentation and reporting; subject to call, and performs other essential duties as deemed necessary.

JOB DUTIES:

1. COORDINATES the bid process with contractors and clients

2. ENSURES all bids are complete and within specifications

3. REVIEWS all HVAC submittals for accurate adherence to the specifications

4. ASSISTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF PROJECT BUDGETS; ensures cost control and adherence to financial constraints, reviews and approves project expenses, change orders, and invoices; identifies cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

5. COORDINATES AND OVERSEES the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems; monitors and controls project schedules and budgets; ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards; resolves issues and conflicts that may arise during projects.

6. ENSURES all project activities align with customer expectations and contractual agreements

7. MONITORS progress and ensures adherence to project milestones

8. SERVES as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, addressing concerns and providing updates

9. BUILDS AND MAINTAINS strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

10. ENSURES all HVAC projects comply with local, state and federal regulations

11. MONITORS project quality to meet or exceed industry standards

12. MANAGES project budgets, tracks cost and ensures cost effectiveness

13. REVIEWS all change orders for accuracy and adherence to contract documents

14. ENSURES all punch list items are completed within the specified time allotment

15. RESPONSIBLE FOR PROJECT DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING; maintains accurate project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence; prepares regular progress reports and presentations for the client and internal use.

16. PERFORMS OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation processes

Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations for HVAC systems.

Knowledge of proper rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation and excellent writing skills.

Ability to implement innovative solutions while keeping a project on-track.

Ability to effectively negotiate.

Ability to maintain professionalism.

Ability to utilize computer software programs, including Microsoft Office.

Ability to handle multiple projects under time and resource pressure.

Ability to effectively develop reports, letters, documents, and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ten (10) years of commercial HVAC project management or project coordination experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Eleven (11)+ years of experience in HVAC project management

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Must pass a criminal background check

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have and maintain a good driving record

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
