Job Description


SUMMARY:

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Human Resources Generalist II. This position will oversee and manage all aspects of the Employee Lifecycle related to attracting, onboarding, and engaging employees. The focus will be on companywide talent acquisition and retention efforts. As a senior member of the team, the successful applicant will collaborate with the HR Director on major initiatives and provide high-quality professional services to all employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Human Resources or a related area preferred. A minimum of (6) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Human Resources, with at least one year in a lead role, is ideal.
  • Current talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required. Advanced knowledge is preferred. Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with human resource information systems or HCM\xe2\x80\x99s is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the entire talent acquisition process, including attracting talent, recruiting, and onboarding. Stay updated with new approaches and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Manage relationships with recruiting vendors and outside agencies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Track and report staffing metrics as requested by senior staff.
  • Develop and coordinate employee onboarding activities, both pre and post offer. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement engagement initiatives under the guidance of the HR Director.
  • Contribute as a member of the ESOP Communication Committee.
  • Process Unemployment claims, including participation in hearings when required.
  • Assist HR Director with Employee Relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with HR Director on various training and development projects.
  • Assist in the design of internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company HR policies and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for E-Verify and applicant tracking for the Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Support fellow HR Team Members to ensure their success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk, see, or hear. The employee may occasionally need to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

Work environment: The work environment is usually quiet to moderate in noise level. The employee may handle emergency and/or crisis situations.
