DESCRIPTION OF WORK


The Talent Management Business Partner works with other GGDC Business Partners to collaborate with agency executives and management staff to assess a broad range of HR needs of talent planning, recruitment, talent acquisition, organization management, and talent development needs of the commonwealth agencies served in the context of each organization\xe2\x80\x99s unique and dynamic programmatic and financial environment.


Under the direction of the Senior HR Business Partner, this position serves as a liaison by engaging and collaborating with agency executive leadership teams and program managers, representatives from centralized HR operational organizations, HRDC staff, and other business partners to plan and execute strategic solutions to a broad range of HRM issues that involve complex operational and organizational considerations within the agencies served.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.

  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY


QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Resource Analyst 3 in the area of the parenthetical; or

  • One year as Human Resource Director 1 or Field Human Resource Officer 2, and one year of professional experience in the area of the parenthetical; or

  • One year of experience in the performance of professional supervisory or specialist developmental human resource work in the area of the parenthetical; and a bachelor\'s degree; or

  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
