New Hope is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
HR Administrative Assistant
to support our Human Resources department. This full-time position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive onboarding experience for new team members.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Receptionistfor the Administration Building.
Provide day-to-day administrative supportto the HR department (reports, correspondence, document management, HR budget discussions).
Collaborateacross departments to resolve HR-related issues and support organizational goals.
Act as the first point of contactfor general HR policy and procedure inquiries.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data using the New Employee Checklist*. Assist in compiling annual turnover reports and support employee retentionefforts.
Manage employee and client discount item sales*. Support HR Onboardingand assist the Onboarding Specialist with phone calls, packet preparation, and 90-day orientation tracking.
Conduct HR auditsand support HR-related projects (e.g., engagement surveys, training, policy updates).
Uphold employee and client confidentiality*. Ensure department coverage during business hours and assist with record retention and destruction*.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma required.
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP) a plus.
Experience
1-2 years in an HR or administrative support role preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Positive, proactive, and adaptable team player.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license and insurable under New Hope's auto insurance policy.
