Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor and/or first shift front desk to join our team at a premier hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours. This position involves balancing financial transactions, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest relations.

Responsibilities

Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all reports. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift. Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and welcoming for guests. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Prepare daily reports for management summarizing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and record keeping.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred. Strong knowledge of guest services and hospitality management principles. Experience with night audit procedures is a plus. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while demonstrating attention to detail. Proficient in using hotel management software and basic computer applications.
