The successful candidate will be a well-rounded maintenance person with a background in HVAC, plumbing, general maintenance, and upkeep. This candidate must be sharp, energetic, and detail oriented with a distinctly hand-on mentality. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a hotel/resort environment.

Principle duties are as follows:

Zero to two (0-2) years prior experience with maintenance in a hotel or apartment environment. HVAC certifications are a plus Trouble-shooting electrical and pneumatic problems and repair them in a timely fashion. General repairs experience with drywall, carpet, and tile. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties. Ability to implement Preventative Maintenance Programs Analytical approach to problem solving. Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive guest and colleague relations. Strong attention to detail Multi-tasking Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Adhere to quality expectations and standards.
