Job Profile Summary: Maintains health information in both paper files and electronic systems. Locates and delivers medical records and assures patient information is integrated into patient records.

Principle Responsibilities

• Organizes and maintains health information records.
  • Reviews pre-electronic medical record (EMR) documentation ensuring correct patient, location, and no duplicate information.
  • Manages internal requests for documentation and information.
  • Scans and edits files in the electronic medical record.
  • Locates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records and updates electronic chart tracking system.
  • Locates records stored in various legacy systems.
  • Notifies requestor of availability of electronic record.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred
• Associate\'s or Vocational degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
• Bachelor\'s degree in health information management preferred
• 2 years experience in health care preferred
• 2 years medical terminology experience preferred
• 2 years experience in health information preferred

Lifting weight Up to 20 lbs. occasionally, Up to 10 lbs. frequently
Additional :

• Tuesday - Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Remote position - must be a resident of MN or WI
