For up and coming hibachi restaurant in Warwick.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook hibachi-style dishes (meats, seafood, vegetables, rice, noodles) on a teppanyaki grill in front of guests
Perform entertaining cooking techniques (knife skills, flipping, flaming, etc.) while maintaining safety standards
Greet guests warmly, introduce the menu, and explain hibachi grill options and cooking styles
Take and confirm guest orders accurately, including special requests and dietary restrictions
Cook multiple guest orders simultaneously while maintaining portion control, quality, and presentation standards
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and served in a timely manner
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized grill station and surrounding work area
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines (including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients)
Prepare ingredients before service (cutting meats and vegetables, making sauces, portioning items, etc.)
Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience
Monitor inventory of hibachi ingredients and communicate low stock or prep needs to management or kitchen lead
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
