We are seeking a talented Chef to join our culinary team at Sushi Sake. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and innovation. Your expertise will help elevate the dining experience for our guests in a vibrant restaurant setting.
Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality sushi and other Japanese dishes according to restaurant standards.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
Manage inventory control and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with the team on menu planning and special promotions.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
Ensure timely food service during peak hours while maintaining quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in menu planning and inventory management is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
