Robert Half is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment with a company in the Retail field. Candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization will be preferred for this Help Desk Analyst position. This Help Desk Analyst role is based in the Merrimack, New Hampshire area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute IT support for productivity software, operating systems, and a variety of other applications used internally
- Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Resolve technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
Requirements
- Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
- Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
- IT support ticketing system experience desired
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts
- Password Reset experience highly desired
- Adeptness in Password Reset
- General familiarity with Service Level Agreements
- Background working with customer service
- Practical knowledge of Peripheral Devices
- Demonstrated knowledge of Service Level Agreements
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Technologies
- Expertise in Servicenow Application
- Strong familiarity with Ticketing System
- Printer Problems experience highly preferred
- Active Directory experience
- Background in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
