Job Description


Nature of Work

This position will support multiple agencies staff in effectively utilizing the Learning Management (LMS) system and an Online Course Registration system which integrates with the LMS. It will work with the supervisor to establish and provide quality control oversight and then assist the agencies in meeting those standards. Acts as liaison between the departments for resolution of problems, issues, and adherence to the established quality standards.

Actively investigates, understands, and provides advice on changes impacting the two systems or the system users. Recommends solutions and courses of action to the supervisor.

Develops and delivers comprehensive training programs for the LMS and Course Registration portal administrators to enable them to achieve competency in the two systems. Creates comprehensive training materials (SOP\'s, job aids, training videos, etc.) for unit and agency staff relative to their duties. This is to ensure competency and ongoing progression of skills and abilities within the systems.

Administers the agency Intranet website to ensure functionality, up-to-date content, and meet quality standards.

At full performance level, works within the standards and directions set by the supervisor, independently determines courses of action to resolve administrative or operational problems within his or her area of responsibility.

Represents supervisor in meetings at their direction.

This position requires a high level of technical skill. The successful candidate must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing and effectively act as liaison across many levels of responsibility with tact and diplomacy.

Minimum Qualifications

Training: Bachelor\'s Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.

Substitution: Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.
Experience: Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment.

Substitution: Post-graduate education in a field related to the technical or program area may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one year of experience.

Other Information

Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience.

Preference will be given to those with prior project management or Learning Management System experience.
