We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Duties
Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm and friendly check-in experience.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Manage front desk operations, including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced and accurate.
Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when responding to calls or making reservations.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Assist in promoting hotel services and upselling additional offerings to guests.
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to assist our diverse clientele effectively.
Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
