Role Mission

The Gucci Manager of Special Events will support in the collaboration of the strategy and the execution of all brand event programs, including large-scale annualized image events, store opening events, scaled retail initiatives and special brand experiences in North America.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate on the overall strategy and the support execution and production of an ambitious events program which reinforces the communications objectives of the brand and the business goals of the region;
  • Contribute to the Integrated Marketing and business decks to effectively communicate event strategy, goals, and successes cross-functionally;
  • Support the strategic development and execution of multi-market initiatives that align with the Gucci\xe2\x80\x99s business development and image goals;
  • Partner with the Senior Manager and Vice President, Special Events to contribute to the overall event production process and timelines, inclusive of project management, external and internal communications, and production updates;
  • Research, develop and leverage brand partnerships through events and activities that elevate and align with the image of the brand;
  • Build creative overviews to share proposals with and elicit feedback from the worldwide office;
  • Work cross functionally with other corporate teams (including Visual Merchandising, Consumer Management, Retail, Merchandising, Store Planning, etc.) to collaborate on in-store initiatives and maximize event opportunities such as added-value programs, client development strategies, acquisition and retention strategies, activity reporting and analysis, and press opportunities;
  • Manage production of corporate collateral materials with the Corporate Image Department to various events and initiatives;
  • Work with Special Events Senior Manager and Vice President to allocate and manage yearly budgets, reconciling all special event expenses with established budgets.


Key Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred;
  • 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in an event related position;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Appreciation and understanding of the luxury fashion industry, philanthropy, culture, and art;
  • Strong writing and verbal skills;
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized;
  • Positive and focused professional team player;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Extensive travel within the US and Canada.

Salary Range \xe2\x80\x93New York City

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $85,000 USD to $95,000 MAX BGT USD.
