We are seeking a Grant Systems Coordinator (OPA3) to join our Office of Finance and Information Technology (OFIT) with the . This is a full-time, limited duration position, represented by the (SEIU). This position is scheduled to end on December 31, 2023.

Please note, we will also consider a job rotation for current, regular status state of Oregon employees in a permanent or limited duration position that are expected to continue through December 31, 2023. You do not need to meet the minimum qualifications for this position to be considered for the job rotation option, this experience will be considered developmental. Our Office:

The Office of Finance and Information Technology (OFIT) provides timely and reliable fiscal, administrative, and information technology services. This work is designed to ensure that all agency services adhere to applicable laws and regulations while seeking solutions focused on the needs of Oregon\xe2\x80\x99s children. OFIT contributes to an infrastructure that allows ODE staff to focus on the core mission of leadership, accountability, and school improvement.

What you will do!

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and improve the agency\xe2\x80\x99s grant system from initial application through monitoring/evaluation and closeout. It will involve communicating and coordinating within ODE\xe2\x80\x99s offices, IT teams, as well as with grant recipients. A main focus will be improving customer service for those entities applying for and receiving grant funding.

You will develop, implement and maintain a standard monitoring and evaluation systems that identifies the impact of grant programs and outcomes.

You will develop an annual process to update public information on grant timeless, grant resources and data that reduce administration burden and support transparency.

You will coordinate and approve agency grant systems.

You will facilitate the transition to a new grant management system.

Your will work closely with agency staff and business partners to facilitate grant questions and processes.

What are we looking for?

A Bachelor\'s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

OR;

Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

Additional Information

Salary Range: The range listed is the Non-PERS salary range. Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) participating members will have their base salary increased by 6.95% and pay a 6% employee contribution to PERS.
