Summary



Invictus is seeking a Principal Engineering Lead - Google Cloud and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) to architect, deploy, and scale distributed cloud and edge environments for enterprise operations. This senior-level position will work with Google and technology partners to establish frameworks, governance models, and adoption strategies that accelerate secure, scalable edge computing and AI-enabled capabilities.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the design and deployment of Google Distributed Cloud solutions across enterprise and edge environments Establish leading practices for edge operations, governance, and data security Collaborate with Google and technology partners to accelerate distributed adoption Architect patterns supporting distributed workloads, data gravity, and local autonomy Integrate AI/ML, analytics, and modern application frameworks into edge solutions Translate business objectives into scalable, high-availability technical implementations Mentor engineers and guide enterprise teams in edge-to-cloud operations Contribute to reusable frameworks and accelerators for GDC enablement

Qualifications



Minimum 12 years in cloud engineering, with leadership in distributed and edge deployments Expertise in Google Cloud and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) architectures Strong understanding of latency, resilience, and data locality requirements Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Anthos, and serverless platforms Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment and lifecycle management at the edge Strong networking and hybrid security knowledge across distributed architectures Proven experience managing complex client engagements and cross-functional teams

Preferred:



Experience in industries with distributed footprints (retail, manufacturing, telecom, QSR) Familiarity with multi-cloud and hybrid strategies Understanding of compliance, sovereignty, and regulatory considerations
