Summary

Invictus is seeking a Google Cloud Migrations Engineering Lead to direct the large-scale transition of enterprise workloads from AWS to Google Cloud. This client-facing position demands both technical mastery and program leadership. The Engineering Lead will design and implement replatforming and modernization strategies, oversee migration execution, and ensure a secure, efficient, and value-driven transition to Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise migrations of applications, data, and infrastructure from AWS to GCP Design and implement replatforming and re-engineering strategies to maximize GCP value Develop frameworks, migration patterns, and accelerators for repeatable delivery Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align migration priorities Partner with operations, architecture, and security teams for seamless transitions Mentor engineers and embed best practices for cloud-native and modern architectures Provide leadership across assessment, planning, migration, and optimization phases

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture, including migration leadership Deep expertise in Google Cloud (GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Run, networking) Strong background in AWS and proven success leading migrations to GCP Proficiency in migration tools (Velostrata, StratoZone, Migrate for Compute Engine, DMS) Experience with automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Deployment Manager) Solid understanding of modernization, containers, and microservices (Kubernetes, Docker) Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

Preferred:

Knowledge of hybrid or multi-cloud strategies Familiarity with compliance, security, and data governance requirements Experience with data modernization and analytics platform migrations
