TITLE: Global Forecasting Leader (Director)

LOCATION: Wilmington, DE

HOURS: Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hours/week)

DUTIES: Implement and ensure application of standard methodologies across the organization, leading to objective forecasts supported by insight & analytics. Help develop and implement new capabilities and improvements. Develop product-specific short-term and long-term forecasts models and maintain up-to-date forecast models, reflecting current data, information, and assumptions. Lead forecasting and business planning processes and associated work streams. Identify key business issues that impact short-term and long-range product and market forecasts. Incorporate the results of primary research into the forecast model(s) to reflect anticipated risks and opportunities on sales outlook. Generate insights based on mid-term / long-term events planning and provide high level assumption guidance to key marketing countries.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Data Analytics or a related field of study plus five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered as a Business Analyst or related role in pharmaceutical forecasting or related. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following in the pharmaceutical industry: Developing forecast models incorporating both qualitative and quantitative inputs; Creating Short Range and Long-Term forecast for in-line brands, pre-launch products and pipeline molecules; Designing and maintaining forecast modeling approach including prescription-based, patient-based, or patient flow; Applying statistical techniques including linear trending, exponential smoothening, and curve fitting; and Evaluating Epidemiology assessments, competitive intelligence information, and primary and secondary market research analysis to generate insights guiding forecast.
