Job Description
A Sun Valley seasonal Retail Associate will work in one of our retail venues. This position seasonal and hourly with a sales commission. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
- Occasionally stamp, mark, or tag the merchandise price.
- Obtain merchandise requested by the customer or receive merchandise selected by the customer.
- Answer questions concerning location, price, and use of the merchandise.
- Total cost and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
- Wrap or bag merchandise, and clean shelves, counters, or tables.
- Remove and record the amount of cash in the register at the end of the shift.
- Calculate sales discount to determine the price.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
- While performing the duties of this job\'s responsibilities, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
- Must safely move objects up to approximately 35 pounds about the workplace.
