GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Glendo State Park in Eastern Wyoming is a 22,000-acre park featuring an abundance of recreational opportunities that attract visitors from across the country. Glendo has a 12,000-acre reservoir popular for water sports and some of the best fishing in the state. The park also has over 500 campsites, 45 miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking, and archery courses. The success of the park is due to the awesome crew of park employees who work diligently as a team to provide a meaningful experience to visitors. Employees of Glendo State Park are able to learn a variety of career-applicable skills with the opportunity to work outdoors and enjoy the park in their free time.
The employment season is typically from mid-May to mid-September. Some seasonal positions may begin earlier in the year and/or extend longer into the fall. The actual length of employment depends on the work location and the type of job performed.
