We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role requires a proactive approach to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs at the fuel pumps and inside the store.
Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restocking shelves and managing inventory.
Perform basic retail math to ensure accurate pricing and transactions.
Assist in product demonstrations and promotions to enhance sales.
Monitor fuel levels and ensure that pumps are functioning properly.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, particularly in a grocery store or similar environment.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Ability to perform basic stock management tasks, including inventory checks and product restocking.
A friendly demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
