Candidates will need to complete an application and submit to a background and credit check. Job Summary The Funder assists in completing loan applications, loan documents and funding of loans and acts as a back up loan officer when needed. Essential Functions: \xc2\xb7 Review loan documents \xc2\xb7 Draft loan closing documents \xc2\xb7 Coordinate loan closings with Settlement Agent and other parties \xc2\xb7 Review loan closings document for accuracy and completeness \xc2\xb7 Prepare and clear conditions \xc2\xb7 Handle collateral documents \xc2\xb7 Facilitate loan funding (wires, ACH, check, etc) \xc2\xb7 Release wires when conditions are cleared \xc2\xb7 Follow up on any additional items needed \xc2\xb7 Accurate and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan. \xc2\xb7 Researches and resolves problems or complaints from internal and external customers. \xc2\xb7 Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures as they relate to documents and funding. \xc2\xb7 Responsible to comply with all policies and procedures, laws and regulations, including but not limited to BSA. \xc2\xb7 Responsible to behave in an ethical and non-discriminatory manner in carrying out all job responsibilities. \xc2\xb7 Responsible to complete all assigned training in timely manner. \xc2\xb7 Performs any and all tasks and projects as requested by management. Non-Essential Functions: \xc2\xb7 Performs back up duties to loan officer as needed including conducting loan interviews, construction inspections and disbursements, and completing mortgage and consumer loan applications accurately and in a timely manner, meeting bank standards. Education and Experience: High School degree or equivalent, minimum of 1+ years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities such as a funder, loan processor, or loan officer/loan officer assistant.
