About the Role

At Sovrn we are passionate about helping Publishers operate by providing revenue streams through advertising. This includes on-page advertising, affiliate links for products and insights about what readers are doing on the page. Engineers take the vision and are empowered to create the best solution possible, with the help of the Product team, Quality Assurance team, and direct engineering manager. This job can be worked remote, but must work Mountain Standard Time.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

  • Develop single page apps and APIs that are scalable and are easy to integrate with
  • Work closely with experienced engineers to develop the next big thing
  • Embody technical excellence through developing applications, testing, and performing code reviews
  • Ensure the quality and availability of Sovrn\'s products and services, triaging and fixing defects as necessary
  • Develop and maintain internal tools to support other teams within the organization
  • Contributing to software engineering best practices and technical excellence through code reviews, unit testing, etc.
About You

You are a self starter and able to get the job done without micro management. You enjoy being part of a collaborative team but are also independent in terms of getting things done. You love technical challenges and solving problems all while striving to make better software, products and the team.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience developing web services (using Javascript Libraries/Frameworks), REST APIs, and database systems
  • Strong communication skills and a desire for collaboration
  • An appetite for learning and self growth
  • A desire to learn new technologies and a curiosity for how things work
Bonus Points:
  • Past experience in Java or similar languages
  • Experience working with Docker, AWS.
  • Experience in the ecommerce, web analytics, search, and cloud computing space

Compensation and Benefits

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate compensation range for this role in Boulder, Colorado is $22.00 an hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate\'s relevant work experience, skills and certifications.
