We are a fast growing 50 person company looking for a hands on Financial/Accounting Controller to perform, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Controller\'s responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are looking for someone to work closely with our Leadership team. This is a growth position with a rapidly expanding company. Must have expert working knowledge of Quickbooks and be willing to learn industry specific software programs. Responsibilities
  • Perform daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process accounts payable/receivable cash receipts general ledger payroll and utilities, budgeting cash forecasting revenue and expenditure variance analysis capital assets reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs fixed asset activity debt activity

Skills
  • Proven working experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise others
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
