Abacus Accounting & Bookkeeping is seeking a talented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. Abacus is dedicated to help businesses become more profitable by providing consistent, accurate financial reports and customized bookkeeping services. Bookkeepers have the opportunity to work from home, with occasional visits to client\xe2\x80\x99s offices (if distance allows) and mandatory attendance for staff meeting and team trainings. The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
Essential Job Duties:
Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned clients.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and notes.
Maintain the chart of accounts.
Verify that transactions are recorded correctly.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Prepare quarterly and monthly payroll and sales tax returns.
Work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations.
Additional Job Duties
Forensic Accounting.
Budgeting and Forecasting.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Bookkeeping certification and/or degree.
3-4 years of finance, accounting, or bookkeeping experience.
Expert in QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks online (both required).
Have your own laptop, printer, scanner, and dedicated workspace.
Additional Information
Wage:
Full time, contract position.
$20-25 hourly (depending on experience and certifications).
Regular raises and bonuses available.
