is currently seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Leader to join our team, providing local support for our Cellulose manufacturing facility located close to Hattiesburg, MS in New Augusta, MS. As the finance business partner, you will collaborate and proactively lead and advise the mill leadership team utilizing some of our newest data tools. You will create value by providing actionable manufacturing analysis and insights, cost analysis and benchmarking, as well as process improvement tracking for management.

You will leverage your advanced accounting and finance knowledge and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively towards identifying and capturing value across the larger Containerboard and Cellulose Mill system.

Our Team The GP Financial Planning & Analysis team is made up of individuals that provide support to 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA. Our Platform Analytics team is responsible for supporting financial and manufacturing analysis functions for our 10 Containerboard and Cellulose facilities across the country.

Location This role supports our mill in New Augusta, MS. We have a hybrid schedule of in office and remote workdays but do require a regular weekly onsite presence at our Leaf River facility.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Planning and Forecasting for the Mill
  • Develop insights and recommendations, analyze results, and identify trends
  • Provide analytical support on strategic capital and major expense projects
  • KPI and cost benchmarking/bet tracking and analysis to support site competitive position
  • Develop and foster partnerships with the mill and business teams to gather data to support various initiatives and decisions
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Supervise a small team of analysts and continue to build capability and focus within that group
  • Consolidate, standardize, and streamline work processes that support fixed cost spend (maintenance, labor, and supplies) reporting, analysis and forecasting
  • Partner with other Centers of Excellence (Internal Financial Controls, Capital, Product costing, Inventory) for data support and insights
  • Be a decision maker, seek and share knowledge, and respectfully challenge the status quo
  • Drive change, with a focus on innovation, process improvement and solving problems
  • Advance our Principles-Based Management\xc2\xae culture by applying and reinforcing the company\'s Guiding Principles
Who You Are (Basic Requirements)
  • Career experience in a financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, operations finance, or related role(s) that demonstrates a professional understanding of accounting and financial concepts, cost accounting principles, business drivers and key performance indicators
  • Leadership or Supervisory Experience (i.e. coaching/mentoring/leading a project team/developing talent)
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
  • Located in or willing to relocate to and work onsite as required at our GP location at New Augusta, MS
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Finance/Operations Accounting experience in a Manufacturing organization
  • Advanced MS Excel capability (statistical modeling, forecasting, graphs, charts, pivots, macros)
  • Experience with data analysis/visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, VBA, Hyperion, SQL, etc.)
  • SAP or other large ERP and integrated accounting system experience
  • Process Improvement / Process Transformation / Process Implementation experience
