Job Summary:
We are searching for a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team in beautiful downtown Ada. As a Florist on our team, you will be responsible for creating a variety of floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements, corsages and boutonnieres for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and funerals.
- May need to assist customers by answering questions, offering suggestions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist in maintaining inventory of flowers, plants, and other floral supplies with owner.
- Keep work area clean and organized
-Able to use flower processing system to stay on price point per recipe
- Process sales transactions and future orders using the POS system
- Handle cash register and cash handling duties accurately when needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Able to work with a variety of products including cleaning and floral chemicals
- Able to lift heavy loads of 25# or more
- Able to work in floral coolers for extended amounts of time.

Skills:

- 1 year of floral design in a retail setting REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral arrangements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register

Hours:
- Flexibility on hours and days, with 2 weekends required

Pay:

- Pay based on experience with commission opportunities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
