Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with professionalism and enthusiasm. Present menus confidently, and take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Provide detailed knowledge about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine or cocktail pairings to assist guests in making informed choices. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns swiftly to ensure a positive experience. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas efficiently between guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or special events such as nightclub evenings or private functions. Uphold excellent guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Experience

Previous fine dining or upscale restaurant serving experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Toast or OpenTable is advantageous. Strong background in food service, customer service, and hospitality roles within the food industry. Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential. Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills combined With Host/host experience or previous roles involving guest relations will be considered valuable assets.
