We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fine Dining Server to join our esteemed restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining service, showcasing exceptional customer service skills and a keen understanding of the culinary arts. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing an unforgettable dining experience for our guests, ensuring that every detail is attended to with precision and care.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing excellent guest relations throughout their dining experience. Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverage selections. Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining the highest standards of service. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is essential. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is preferred. Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Sales skills with a focus on upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Previous experience in food service, including serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety practices.
