Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Nebraska is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business Analyst. The business analyst\xe2\x80\x99s primary role will be to work collaboratively with division leaders to identify strategic initiatives and help provide long term strategic planning. This role will also be a key part of the finance team, and will serve as a backup for AP, accounting, and credit & collections. This position reports directly to the Associate Controller with significant interaction with Division Managers, and the General Manager. The candidate must also possess the ability to develop an in-depth understanding of the production environment and have the ability to communicate well with all levels of the division. This role will also be an integral part of forecasting, capital projects, developing financial models, as well as financial analysis. The successful candidate must be willing and able to relocate to take on further leadership responsibilities within Nucor, now, and in the future. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards, at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with an emphasis on accounting or finance
2. Minimum of 2 years work experience in financial related position in manufacturing environment
3. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

1. CPA, CMA, Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, or MBA
2. Manufacturing or Cost Accounting experience
3. SAP experience
4. Experience working with profit/cost models
