This Financial Analyst manages asset programs (Loan, Equity, CAP, Collateral and Participation) via subsidiary ledgers, performs analytical review of account balances, and monitors financial data for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation/Michigan Strategic Fund. This financial analyst is responsible for performing reconciliations of all asset programs on a monthly basis by established deadlines, reconciling subsidiary ledgers to our financial accounting system, communicating with lending institutions regarding financial transactions for collateral and participation programs, and participating in year-end accounting activities. Required Education and Experience

Education: This position requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or related field.


Experience: This position requires a minimum of two to four years related experience and/or training in financial or accounting functions. Experience in a financial institution is preferred; experience with financial software applications is also preferred.
