Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Assist with monthly closing processes, including journal entries, reporting and analysis
• Adhoc reporting using Excel pivot tables, SAP ledger and other financial tools
• Provide support to business partner related to expense reporting
• Assist with annual budget planning, SOX compliance and work with auditors as needed
• Assist in the procure to pay cycle to ensure accurate expense reporting

This is a hybrid role The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$100,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Required

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in business analytics and/or financial services

Preferred

• Curiosity driven individual who excels in development of new solutions and desire to improve existing processes through efficiency
• Self-starter, motivated individual that demonstrates critical thinking skills
• Ability to evaluate completeness and accuracy of your own work
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, at all levels both on and offshore

Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results. Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports. Managing Expenses and Finances: Knowledge of the principle and methodology of finance management; ability to use the functions, tools and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization. Profitability Analysis: Knowledge of profitability analysis; ability to utilize diverse tools and methods to assess the profit gaining capability of an organization and the factors that influence profitability.
