General Summary of Job Duties: The Finance Supervisor is responsible for the direction of the audit staff and is accountable for all revenue being accurately recorded and reported to management daily, which includes but is not limited to gaming and non-gaming revenue. The position requires the ability to understand and interpret rules and regulations, think critically and creatively, and work effectively. All employees must be knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of the company, including but not limited to the Gaming Control Board and safety regulations. Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Verify the contents of all paperwork sent to Finance from a particular venue on the floor. Ensure that all sales, revenue, and cost revenue are correct.
  • Conduct gaming revenue audits, which include, but are not limited to table games, slots, casino cage, entertainment, and players club.
  • Produce and distribute gaming reports daily, monthly, and yearly.
  • Log and document exceptions to gaming regulations.
  • Observe and verify month end physical inventories as assigned.
  • Participate in month end slot machine readings as assigned.
  • Conduct non-gaming revenue audits, which include, but are not limited to all food and beverage outlets, hotel, retail, and A/R.
  • Track all concert/special events ticket sales.
  • Key in, balance comps into computer system and produce comp reports by individual compor.
  • Verify account receivable items.
  • Process credit cards items; settle disputes with customer and credit card vendors.
  • Process travel agent commissions and refunds to customers.
  • Conduct collection of returned checks.
  • Daily compliance audits, generating reports, researching variances, and updated internal controls.
  • Reviewing and performing month end reconciliations.
  • Gaming and non-gaming revenue reporting reconciliations.
  • Review Title 31 audit and submission of CTR\xe2\x80\x99s and SAR\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Such other job-related duties may be assigned by instruction of management.
  • Ability to learn and complete each staff member\xe2\x80\x99s job duties if necessary.
  • Review and sign off on daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly audit checklists and report to ensure. revenues and settlements meet gaming requirements and accounting standards.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile related general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Ensure audit exceptions are written and logged by staff and appropriately responded to by management in the allotted time.
  • Responsible for the calculation and recording of Live Entertainment Tax.
  • Provide internal and external auditors with requested information when required.
  • In charge of record retention for the casino area.
  • Regular attendance as schedule for work is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting from Accredited College or University or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years relative or related experience including some management oversight.
  • At least one (1) year supervisory or management experience.
  • Ability to learn new software and adoption of new technology.
  • Working knowledge of gaming and non-gaming auditing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team under tight deadlines and changing directives.
  • Must be 21 years of age and can obtain an appropriate gaming license.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, be well organized, and perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Previous experience with Infinium or related accounting system preferable.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel including Pivot Tables)
  • Oracle POS
  • LMS/RGuest Stay PMS
  • Aristocrat
Required Work Cards:
  • Identification that establishes identity.
  • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.
  • Gaming card.
