Job Description

This role will sit in the newly created Norstella corporate team.

• Manage monthly consolidation process for all legal entities (actuals, forecast, budget, and strategic planning)
• Produce monthly reports, which include, financial results, key performance indicators and variance reporting
• Partner with local accounting on month-end activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Partner with local FP&A groups on forecasting and budgeting activities and timelines
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget and forecasts
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports and Excel dashboards
• Support financial system implementation
• Support M&A activity with regards to integration of new acquisitions

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience, required. CPA preferred
• Three to five years of experience in accounting or finance
• Working knowledge of the month-end close process for a global organization at corporate headquarter level, with multiple entities, currencies, etc.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across functional groups

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $138,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
