Job Description


As a Product Strategy Senior Associate within the Product Strategy & Fintech team of Commercial Bank Solutions , you will be responsible for driving specialized product and partnership strategy for the Financial Institutions Group segment and other high priority industry verticals in the Commercial Bank.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep level of insights of client pain points, evolving client needs and emerging market trends through client research, data analysis, internal feedback and market reviews
  • Assess opportunities via a build / buy / partner framework to determine best path to delivering new solutions
  • Drive the execution of the product strategy including working across the firm to inform the product roadmap, go-to-market approach and partnership agenda
  • Develop understanding of personas of clients in target segments, as well as competitive and fintech landscape
  • Create solution architecture with product partners to ensure that solutions address opportunities
  • Work with the business stakeholders and product to prioritize investments and develop robust business cases and strategic rationale for large investments
  • Communicate regular progress and updates to Sales, Product, and senior management stakeholders, including presentations, executive summaries, and KPI progress

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 2+ years of relevant experience - product management / strategy / management consulting / business development
  • Experience working within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint creating business cases, financial models, and presentations for senior management
  • Strong experience in payments, fintech, digital, and/or treasury a plus
  • Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, build strong relationships, and achieve goals without direct control over resources
  • Successful track record setting and achieving challenging goals and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable transforming abstract ideas into a discreet plan of action
  • Change agent who makes a passionate case for change through facts, strong communication style and deep understanding of audience
  • Bachelor\'s degree required
