About the role
As Field Communications Manager, you will work closely with our Internal Operations and Professional Services teams to ensure delivery of clear, concise, and timely communication and tasks to field associates, doctors, and field leaders. You will play a key role in driving associate engagement and providing timely, relevant information and insights about the business and the MyEyeDr. Purpose, Promise, Vision and Values (P2V2). This role will report to the Director, Internal Communications.

You Will

  • Analyze and assist with the field workload calendar and partner with Internal Operations and Professional Services to ensure balanced workload and communication volume.
  • Support and manage the delivery of weekly field communication cascades.
  • Implement strategies to gather, analyze, and disseminate field feedback back to Home Office Support partners.
  • Manage content for field intranet pages; partner with key stakeholders to maintain and update document libraries and resources on the company intranet.
  • Proofread and edit all field communications and deliver appropriate communication method based on the message, audience, timing, and desired outcome.
  • Advise business partners on field communications guidelines, messaging, and tactics to align with business objectives, timelines, and office needs.
  • Train Home Office Support team members on field communication guidelines and tools.
  • Assess needs, write, edit, produce, and manage distribution of field communications content as needed. (e.g., intranet content, announcements, presentations, video scripts).
  • Offer counsel on communication approach for field initiatives or launches; develop supporting communication plans.
  • Partner with broader Internal Communications team to ensure consistency of messages across all internal communication channels.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of external market and industry best practices.
About You

Required
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years dedicated experience in internal and/or corporate communications.
  • Experience overseeing communications programs for a retail or multi-unit population.
  • Impeccable verbal/presentation, writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and feedback quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in simple, compelling ways.
  • Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence across all levels and functions.
  • Pragmatic approach and bias for action, with a test-and-learn mindset.
  • High comfort level with ambiguity; ability to adapt quickly and prioritize wisely.
  • Experience managing crisis and other high-stakes communications.
  • Self-driven, proactive style, with the ability to work quickly and independently.
Preferred
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change initiatives; change management certification (e.g., PROSCI).
