Farm Worker Doing things right for our turkeys. We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking farm workers to join our team. In this role, you will work at one of our farm locations where you will ensure the well being of our turkeys. This may include support to one of our egg production, brood or grow out farm locations. You do need to love caring for animals, but you don\xe2\x80\x99t need experience with turkeys to fit in here. Dependability is a must to support our team of nearly 7,000. • Help us achieve least cost production goals while ensuring the safety, health, and care of our turkeys.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules.
• Ensure healthy birds are produced for our customers by following all animal care and biosecurity guidelines and policies.
• Perform position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor as needed.

What to expect:

• Work 5-6 day work weeks (40 hours/week), and some weekends.
• Work in various environmental conditions (heat, dust etc.)
• Perform repetitive motions such as twisting, turning, bending and reaching.
• Lift items ranging from 25 to 50 pounds but will vary by position.
• Wear needed personal protective equipment.
• Must not own, care for or handle pet birds, wild or domestic poultry or hogs.
