Job Description

Pathways Center is a behavioral health care organization serving children, adolescents, and adults addressing an array of mental health and substance abuse issues since 1972. Pathways Center provides mental health, intellectual & developmental disabilities, and addictive disease services in the west central Georgia region.
The individual in this role is a part of the company\'s administrative support team, which provides organization-wide support and service. This position involves providing operational support from a facilities perspective, which includes facilities maintenance and repairs; as well as vehicle maintenance as needed. This position reports to Pathways Center\xe2\x80\x99s Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities for the Facilities Maintenance Technician includes but is not limited to the following:

• Provides general maintenance and repair support to Pathways Center\xe2\x80\x99s locations to minimize risk of operational disruption
• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment, which includes but is not limited to: skilled painting; carpentry and roofing tasks; plumbing fixtures; lighting; air vents and air conditioning units
• Monitors work orders and requests from various locations throughout west Georgia
• Assists Facility Maintenance Manager with renovations, and construction installs, etc.
• Maintains security, climate control, and other facilities systems
• Ensures all maintenance conforms to quality standards and designated timeliness
• Performs facility safety inspections as scheduled by the Facilities Maintenance Manager
• Operates trade related tools and equipment; maintains an accurate inventory of all materials and equipment
• Wears safety equipment and observes all safety practices and regulations

Three years of related experience OR One year of experience at the lower level Facility Maintenance Wkr 2 (FES051) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require valid driver\'s license.
