job summary:
Exciting contract position in Athens, TN. Facilities Maintenance & Engineering group is looking for a motivated individual that will help maintain the campus. The primary focus of this associate will be project scope development and project management for the entire campus. They will also work with other disciplines as required for projects.

salary: $32 - 40 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Provide support to Maintenance staff during routine maintenance, unplanned outages, and planning for equipment replacement.
- Support building, electrical and mechanical systems design & installation.
- Plan and oversee ongoing construction projects, i.e. installation of building, line relocation, Facilities equipment installation, installation of parking lot, renovation of offices, etc.
- Work with internal customers to achieve best method for construction at lowest cost.
- Monitor construction activity to ensure safety is being observed.
- Plan for all activity and work to communicate all activity to appropriate areas of construction.
- Assist with planning for future of the clients in Carbon Neutral initiative.
- Investigate energy saving best practices and auditing processes to find energy savings opportunities.
- Create equipment replacement plans.
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
