Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience and possess strong financial modeling skills and a solid understanding of technical accounting principles. They will perform and prepare business valuation reports and determine the value of a specific company, asset, stock, or protfolio. Litigation experience is a plus as they may prepare litigation reports, depositions or testy as an expert witness. Our desire is to find someone for this role who wants to take this segment and grow it.

Responsibilities

Prepare valuation models, including discounted cash flow and other income-based approach models, market multiples, and asset valuation analyses. Perform valuations for financial reporting purposes. Review and analyze financial models, budgets, and contracts. Review and interpret financial statements. Communicate with fellow team members and clients. Write valuation and expert witness reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is required. Three years experience. Proven experience in financial analysis, and financial modeling required, including proficiency in financial report writing. Familiarity with various financial software applications is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate findings clearly. CPA and ABV or CVA credentials preferred. Previous experience in data collection and litigation support is a plus.
