The Executive Director of Global Corporate Affairs is a critical role that will lead the operationalization and execution of the Global Communications and Global Public Affairs Strategy across functions, regions and brands with a focus on China to ultimately enhance speed, execution of company strategy and collaboration across teams and regions. The leader in this role will help the GC/GPA function to transform capabilities to ensure we support and enable the execution of our strategy. Across the company, the Executive Director will be a key partner for the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Brands, Transformation Office, Travel Retail, Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability, APAC and China teams to drive efficient and effective execution for our business. The Executive Director will bring both a global and China expertise and viewpoint to the corporate team through leadership, analysis and insights to facilitate enterprise decisions. Key Responsibilities Company Engagement in China
  • Partner with EVP and SVP Global Communications & GPA, VP Public Affairs-China and VP Communications-China on the execution of the company\xe2\x80\x99s engagement strategy in China, with an emphasis on our most senior company leaders in NY.
  • Support development of strategic company initiatives in China from both local and global perspectives and across business units.
  • Continue to drive strong relationships across geographies, particularly between the teams based in NYC and in China.
  • Draft memorandum, PowerPoints, news summaries and analyses across company engagement strategies
  • Lead inbound-outbound coordination and management of all ELC participation in forums, events, trade association events and meetings with government officials.
  • Manage and leverage ELC membership in select trade associations and organizations.
  • Assist in internal information sharing within the global communications & public affairs teams related to best practices, key engagements, etc.
Company and Brand Stewardship
  • Initiate and analyze geopolitical risk assessments to enable prioritization of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with brands on geopolitical risk preparation and vetting matters.
  • Work closely with the GC/GPA and global teams to proactively identify issues that could have enterprise implications or risks and collaborate to facilitate risk mitigation preparation; ensure stakeholder teams receive robust awareness and training to successfully prepare
  • Assist with crisis management.
Corporate Strategy and International Business Development
  • Support Corporate Strategy & Corporate Initiatives and alignment with key global programs.
  • Partner with global teams (with an emphasis on APAC and China) to help drive communications operationalization of key market strategies.
ESG Communications Partnership
  • Partner with ESG communications team to ensure alignment and collaboration around China\xe2\x80\x99s Environmental, Social and Governance communications and programs.

Qualifications
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $149,500 to $257,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
