This hands-on Communications Leader is experienced in all facets of Corporate Communications including internal and external communications as well as issues and change management. He/she will partner with Teva Global Operations sites in to drive a stronger line of sight to goals and business priorities, and will be a key point of contact for senior manufacturing and supply leaders within our manufacturing units and global functions. He/she will primarily focus on internal engagement, corporate and network-wide programs and reputational issues as necessary. He/she will be expected to influence across a highly matrixed global organization, working closely with Operations, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs leaders across Teva.

Travel: Approximately 25%

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as strategic partner for Teva Global Operations leadership team members and Site General Managers to understand and support their business needs through communications planning and execution.
  • Translate global objectives into relevant communications strategies that engage employees, enable managers, empower leaders and simplify processes to support the business.
  • Lead a global site communications network designed to implement global (Operations and Corporate) programs and to pull through organizational messages; coach leaders; and standardize and simplify site communications processes at Teva manufacturing and supply sites.
  • Simplify complex business information and produce engaging and effective content in a variety of styles and formats for multiple channels at the global, regional and site levels.
  • Define success parameters and monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure communications within manufacturing and supply sites are consistent with broader Teva messaging and branding.
  • Advise sites on internal/external/reputation/brand issues.
  • Advise and assist manufacturing segment and/or global function leaders with key programs and executive messages.
  • Partner with Corporate Affairs team members to drive communications and change programs, channels and platforms at the global level.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, PR or similar.
  • 10-15 years of overall experience in corporate communications, PR or marketing with focus on internal communications.
  • Highly articulate and influential leader with excellent written communications and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships as a trusted advisor with leaders/managers at all levels globally; ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
  • A team player with an ability to deal with the ambiguity that can come from working in a matrix global environment.
  • Ability to lead and influence in a highly matrixed work environment.
  • Ability to evaluate and change priorities daily and to perform efficiently within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Highly motivated and collaborative, well organized, creative and innovative, and possesses good time and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, managing multiple projects while ensuring accuracy; carry out both strategic and practical hands-on communication activities.
  • Knowledge of issues management, social media and new media channels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of Poppulo and Survey Monkey a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical industry/Manufacturing knowledge a plus.
