The Department of Agriculture\'s PA Farm Show and Expo Center is seeking experienced and dependable individuals to join our team as a full-time Laborers. As part of our staff, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of the 24-acre building in Harrisburg, the one-of-a-kind Pennsylvania Farm Show. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Duties of a Farm Show Laborer employee are many and varied and all jobs performed contribute to the completeness and efficiency of operation at the Farm Show Complex. As a Laborer, you will be responsible to help setup, maintain and tear-down for the various types of events held at the complex. Laborers also maintain complex grounds and facility buildings with regards to trash and custodial functions, general maintenance, meeting and banquet setups, grounds keeping, and snow removal.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time temporary employment.
  • Work schedule options include the following:
  • Thursday-Monday, 7:00am-3:30 pm, with a 30 minute lunch
  • Thursday-Monday, 2:30-11:00 pm, with a 30 minute lunch.
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30 pm, with a 30 minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
