Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, fundraisers, and social gatherings
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and preferences
- Research and select suitable venues for events, such as restaurants, banquet halls, or hotels
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors
- Oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment
- Coordinate event logistics, such as transportation and accommodations for guests
- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event to ensure client satisfaction
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of an event are meticulously planned and executed
- Creativity to design unique and memorable event experiences
- Problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise during events
- Knowledge of catering and hospitality industry trends and best practices Note: Previous experience in event planning or a related field is highly preferred. Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits:
