Description:

MEP or CSA Estimator / Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant to work on some exciting new projects at a semiconductor client!

We currently have a team onsite and would like to add a member to support projects under a new IPD (integrated project delivery) approach working in a collaborative environment with the GC, trades and A/E.

Use excel for pricing and takeoffs done in typically BlueBeam or 3D modeling

Performs quantity take off and prepares complete estimates using Microsoft Excel, BIMS, Revit, Success etc. for assigned projects of all sizes and complexity. This includes monitoring and analyzing project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts.

  • Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take offs using plans and specifications, or conceptual information.
  • Review, interpret and accurately estimate the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents.
  • Apply unit costs and productivity rates, as provided by supervisor.
  • Solicit and collect subcontractor and vendor bids or quotations.
  • Develop and nurture subcontractor/vendor and client relationships.
  • Prepare subcontractor analysis sheets for assigned scope of work.
  • Evaluate changes and subcontractor change order estimates. Provide expertise in all phases of construction work.
  • Perform other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties assigned by supervisor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred to have estimating experience in hi-tech, semiconductor construction

Strong excel skills - must be fast paced, high volume

  • Demonstrate consistent ability to be dependable, diligent, and thorough.
