Horton, Inc., a global airflow industry leader in reliability, service and innovation has a openings for an Entry Level Production Position in parts washer/clutch pack area to work in our Britton, South Dakota location.This is a 2nd shift position and standard hours are Monday-Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with overtime, as needed. This job starts at $21.16 per hour and also has a shift premium of $1.25 per hour.

Position Summary:

The Entry Level Production Position will wash parts to remove coolant, oil or other material that would interfere with painting or other production operations. The Production worker will maintain correct inventories through data entered in the business system, visually inspect parts, assemble product and transport baskets of parts/units to staging or finished goods areas.

Responsibilities

Entry Levl Production Position Job Responsibilities:

• Uses a parts washer to de-grease metal parts.
• Uses material handling equipment including upright forklift to transport finished loads.
• Assembles required units following standard assembly procedures.
• Performs quality checks per standard procedures and specifications.
• Reads and comprehends blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Exhibits and performs basic personal computer functions
• Work is heavy and requires regular lifting of parts 15 \xe2\x80\x93 30 lbs., with some parts up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

Entry Level Production Position Qualifications:

A high school diploma, or equivalent (GED), is desired but not required. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Relocation allowance may be provided if the individual has all of the necessary qualifications.
