Realty Income is looking for multi-faced Benefit Manager who thrives on handling the day-to-day administration and work at a strategic level to plan and support our global benefits programs. The Benefits Manager is the point of contact for employees and vendors on benefit programs. This position has overall responsibility for strategic management of global employee benefits programs, including offering excellent customer service, communication, and day to day administration. The Benefits Manager develops, implements, and administers global benefit programs (i.e., retirement plans, leave and, welfare policies, etc.), policies, and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position works closely with Human Resources, senior leadership, and external vendors to ensure that the organization\'s benefits programs are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with Realty Income\xe2\x80\x99s goals. What you will do: Vendor and Customer Management (40%)

  • Work across multiple locations to deliver a programmatic customer-facing benefits, communication, and education experience. Subject matter expert responsible to resolve benefits-related issues and discrepancies, and serves as the point of contact for employees, managers, and vendors on benefits-related matters. Maintains accurate records and files related to benefits programs.
  • Manages relationships with benefit plan vendors, brokers, and carriers to optimize the value of the service provided.
  • Develops and delivers engaging employee communication and education programs related to benefits, including written materials, presentations, and training sessions. Ensures that benefit information is updated and communicated regularly to employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service to global team members and create sustained relationships with multiple vendors.
  • Provide timely and accurate resolution to team members concerns by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
  • Manage vendors relationship to ensure timely, accurate and compliant administration while optimizing the value of service.
  • Develop and lead the benefits enrollment process, including annual US Open Enrollment, and ongoing new hire enrollment. Includes creation of employee communication, ongoing management of the benefit intranet site, review all plan documents for accuracy and complete all system testing and configuration for benefit administration.
Benefit Administration (40%)
  • Develop, implement, and administer international and multi-state benefits programs, including but not limited to 401(k), UK & Netherlands Pension Schemes, and leave of absences.
  • Lead the development of the annual benefit budgets.
  • Manage the benefits enrollment system, coordinates with payroll for accurate deductions, and ensuring timely processing of benefits-related changes.
  • Review and audit monthly carrier invoices and benefit reports for accuracy and process for timely payment
Leadership and Compliance (20%)
  • Monitor and remain current with benefit trends, regulations, issues, and best practices in the industry. Review benefits program effectiveness and make recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of new and revised US, UK, and EU programs and proactively evaluate improvements to current programs.
  • Prepares and files required reports and disclosures. Monitors and maintains documentation for audits and inquiries related to benefits programs.
  • Ensures timely and accurate reporting and compliance with country, federal, state and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA.
  • Evaluates and recommends changes to benefits plans and policies based on market trends, benchmarking data, and cost analysis. Extrapolate and analyze complex data and create reports for benefit utilization and adoption to make strategic changes and adjustments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree from a four-year college or university; or seven years related experience and/or training.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with global health and retirement plan administration, particularly UK and The Netherlands.
  • Minimum of five years (eight or more years preferred) of direct benefits experience. Experience must include Health & Welfare benefits, pension/savings plans, leave of absence/ADA, disability insurance, worker\xe2\x80\x99s compensation, and wellness programs.
  • Flexible and capable of adjusting to team and project demands mid-stream when and if change occurs.
  • CEBS strongly preferred or planned course completion once employed.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong problem resolution skills and able to prioritize competing requests.
  • Strong vendor management & project management skills
  • Effective listening skills
  • Knowledge of 401(k), ERISA and IRS regulations administration and management
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including FMLA, HIPPA, ACA, COBRA, LOA, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of California and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and conduct presentations and training materials.

The base salary for this role is in the range of ($116,695 - $189,251). You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate\'s experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
